Dear Parish FAMILY,

THANK YOU from the bottom of my hearts for all of the prayers, well-wishes, and encouragement that you gave me for “Pastor Appreciation Day” (I didn’t even know it was a thing!) I am SO happy to be here at St. Pat’s with all of you. Consider this weekend “Pastor’s Appreciation For His People and Parish Day” and let me say that I couldn’t be more pleased and joyful at all that you do. THANK YOU!!!

I’m really looking forward to having a great friend of mine, Connor Flanagan, who is an extremely talented professional Catholic musician and songwriter, come here to entertain our parish and the surrounding community. He performs his hip-hop music with an unbelievable amount of energy (maybe that’s why we’re friends!) He’ll be here performing at the Holloway Center on Saturday, Nov. 3rd at 7:00. Expect an epic, high-octane, high-energy, high-volume experience filled with all kinds of flashing lights and hands in the air as Connor shares his faith in a way unlike you’ve ever seen before! I hope to see you there!

October is the Month of the Rosary – which I why I was excited to start off the Month by hosting the Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima. We’ll be ending the month with a special presentation on the Scriptural Basis for Each of the Mysteries of the Rosary that I’ll be giving on Oct. 29th at 7:00. Finally, last week I invited you to partake of the “FORMED” video series on Prayer: “Lectio: Prayer” I really hope you all took the opportunity to watch the first video and I deeply encourage you to watch the second part sometime this week. It’s less than 30 minutes each session, and it will pay off in the long run more than a lot of things that we all probably spent 30 minutes doing at some point throughout the week. So please, give yourself the gift of delving into this series to learn how to communicate with God on a deeper level! The code to get into “FORMED” is d0c7cc (zero not an “o”)

God Bless You, Fr. Romke
